The College Observer was a supplement published by the Virginia Gazette specifically covering William & Mary news. Many of the writers and production people were students. The paper appeared weekly during the school year from September 1970 through December 1971 and is one of many College of William & Mary publications. Christopher Bram, class of 1974, mentioned that he wrote film reviews for the College Observer while a student in an interview conducted in 2005. See approximately minute 48 of the interview, which is available from the DSpace digital repository at https://digitalarchive.wm.edu/handle/10288/669.

A note about the contents of this site

This website contains the best available information from known sources at the time it was written. Unfortunately, many of the early original records of William & Mary were destroyed by fires, military occupation, and the normal effects of time. The information in this website is not complete, and it changes as we continue to research and uncover new sources.
