The Laundry and Warehouse were located behind the Dining Hall. The first floor housed the warehouse and storeroom and the second floor operated the college laundry. It was constructed between 1929-1930 and completed in 1930 at an approximate cost of $25,000.

An addition was built on the north end of the facility in 1966. The laundry service was discontinued at the end of the academic year in 1974.

A note about the contents of this site

This website contains the best available information from known sources at the time it was written. Unfortunately, many of the early original records of William & Mary were destroyed by fires, military occupation, and the normal effects of time. The information in this website is not complete, and it changes as we continue to research and uncover new sources.
