Charles Wyndham

Charles Wyndham, Earl of Egremont, served as a representative in Parliament on behalf of three different localites: Bridgewater (1735-1741), Appleby (1742-1747) and Taunton (1747-1750). In 1761, he succeeded William Pitt as Secretary of State for the Southern Department. He served as chancellor of William & Mary from 1762 until his death in 1763.
